Local facilities
Ardoch is fortunate to be located close to multiple shopping areas and excellent public transport.
Trams 5 and 64 run along Dandenong Road into the city along St Kilda Road. The journey takes around 30 minutes.
The closest train station is Windsor, just north of the corner of Dandenong Road and Chapel Street - about a 10 minute walk from Ardoch. It's on the Sandringham line.
Shopping
Chapel Street is known for its funky shops and great coffee.
High Street Armadale has fine dining and up-market fashion.
St Kilda has Luna Park, even funkier cafes, and plenty of festivals and live music.
Fresh food
Just down the road at Alma Park, there's a Hank Marvin market every Saturday morning.
And the Prahran Market is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7am to 5pm; and on Sundays from 10am to 3pm.
